MiniRoos and Juniors

What a fantastic season we had across our MiniRoos and Junior age groups. We had an incredible 32 teams (28 mixed and 4 girls) totalling 330 registered MiniRoos players who seized the spirit of the club by having lots of fun, whilst learning some new skills and making new friends.

Meanwhile in the Junior comp we had 20 teams (13 mixed and 7 girls) with a total of 309 players. All the teams played well and in the spirit of the club, but special mention must go to the following teams:

  • U16As defeated Hornsby Heights 2-1 with a golden goal to win the U16 Super League grand final!
  • G16As finished runners up to Pittwater RSL in the State Cup final and runners up in the G16 Diamond League competition!
  • U14As defeated Lindfield 5-3 to win the club’s first ever Treasurer’s Shield cup final in that age group!
  • U18Xs who played hard in their grand final against Lindfield B but were defeated 2-1!

We had 15 teams (19 mixed and 6 womens) totalling 340 players representing the club across our men's and women's competitions including Division 1 teams in MAA (Prems), WAA (Prems), M35, M45 and W35.

If you support the project, the club would like to encourage members to directly email the Mayor Jennifer Anderson and Councillors to express their desire to have the Mimosa Oval artificial pitch project proceed. The names and contact details of Councillors can be found on the Council website.

If anyone has any questions on either project please email Kevin Johnson at
