Volume 1. Number 37. Last email of the decade. Or something.
We hope you enjoy this abbreviated holiday edition of the Suburbs Pod newsletter. We'll be back in 2020 rocking harder than ever. Here's wishing you all a healthy and happy new year!
Someone said this is a pretty good album.

The Week That Was: Spinning the Best o' the Decade Wheel

Hit shuffle and do the hustle to the decade's top hits.

Monday, Dec. 23 - Our amazing listeners — led by Mike Wagner — created a playlist with their favorite songs of the last decade. Patrick and Jim hit shuffle and hit on David Bowie, Jack White, Tom Petty and Drive-By Truckers on Monday.

Tuesday, Dec. 24 - More best of the decade shuffle and chat. War on Drugs, Kevin Morby, Baroness and more Bowie, along with a hidden gem from Patrick, Mutual Benefit.

Wednesday, Dec. 25 - No show. We hope everyone had a great holiday and heard lots of excellent music.

Thursday, Dec. 26 - After all the presents have been opened, we've still got more best of the decade songs to unwrap. Jason Isbell, Alvvays, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Explosions In The Sky come up in shuffle today.

Friday, Dec. 27 - The last Best of the Decade show is in the books. Patrick gets to talk about Vampire Weekend (finally) and we muse upon the jaw-dropping greatness that is Parquet Courts.

On Deck: New Music, Patron Chat and EPJ!

Taking care of some business before the decade is out.

Monday, Dec. 30 -  Steven Routledge rounds up some of his favorite music of December.

Tuesday, Dec. 31 - We close out the decade by looking back — way back — to 1984 with Patron Mike Kohli.

Wednesday, Jan 1, 2020 - NO SHOW. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

Thursday, Jan. 2 - We welcome the new year with a look back, forward, over, under, sideways and down from the one and only Echo Park Jimmy. Put on another pot of coffee and buckle in.

Friday, Jan 3 - We chat with Patron Barret Ries about bands and breaking up — or just taking a break. Get the tissues ready.

Suburbs Pod Pet o' the Week!

It's Molly, who is dangerously adorable — and a part of the Intern Sam family. Sam reports that Molly, like Patrick, is hard of hearing but still loves to Rock the Suburbs, every day. Stay cute Molly!
