Remote Consultations

We are available to you and your students for remote consultations via phone, email or a video conferencing software (e.g. Zoom). Contact us via email, or use The Booking Portal to set up an appointment.

Expanded Access to Digital Materials

HathiTrust for the Emory Community

Emory University faculty, students, and staff now have access to the HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service. They can log in to HathiTrust to access online versions of in copyright titles which are also in Emory print collections.

National Emergency Library

Internet Archive has created a National Emergency Library, through which users can borrow over 1.4 million eBooks without getting waitlisted. Set up a free account to borrow materials.

Ancestry Library Edition (Home Access)

On April 6, Ancestry committed to providing at-home access to Ancestry Library Edition for as long as libraries are forced to be closed due to the current situation. At-home access to Ancestry has been extended to April 30.

Elizabeth Long Atwood Undergraduate Research Award

The submission deadline has been extended to April 15 for the Emory Libraries' Elizabeth Long Atwood Undergraduate Research Award. This award recognizes Emory undergraduate students in all disciplines who:
  • use the Emory Libraries' collections and research resources in their original papers, digital projects, or posters;
  • show evidence of critical analysis in their research skills (i.e., locating, selecting, evaluating, and synthesizing information).
Faculty recommendations are welcome. Visit the Atwood URA website for full eligibility criteria and application guidelines.

Credo Information Literacy Online Modules

Credo Information Literacy provides online modules, tutorials, videos, and quizzes to help students learn foundational information literacy skills. Students can asynchronously complete lessons on a wide range of topics including:

  • getting started with research,
  • finding credible sources and recognizing bias, and
  • creating appropriate citations.

Please explore the modules, tutorials, videos, and quizzes and extend any feedback you have to library.
