Stories about the food we don't eat....
Did you participate in the inaugural #FoodWasteActionWeek? From 1-7 March, this WRAP-led digital campaign strongly emphasised the links between food waste and climate change. As part of the week, there were challenges around some of the important aspects of food waste in the home, like understanding use by and best before dates. Our own Tanya Wilkins took part in the #FoodWasteActionChallenge and found many best before dates in her own fridge:

There were many lessons in social media from our Fight Food Waste - Its Easy As digital campaign during the peak of the Australian COVID-19 pandemic. We've summarised these in our first ever Food Waste Bite (bite sized chunk of information, not a bite of food waste itself!) as well as made the final report available on our website.
