Stories about the food we don't eat...
We are really pleased to share the news that our friends in the ACT have just launched their own Love Food Hate Waste campaign! They're running this campaign through the ACT Government's Facebook page, so while you're visiting our Fight Food Waste Australia page, drop them a comment or a like too!

For those of you not in the ACT, then you can follow Love Food Hate Waste from the New South Wales EPA, Sustainability Victoria, Brisbane City Council, or join the general community. We're so fortunate in our food waste network to have fantastic consumer information from OzHarvest on their 'Waste Free Wednesday', the Which Bin? campaign from Green Industries South Australia, and Food Savers from Woolworths.
Have you ever wondered what social media users do in the real world when it comes to their actual behaviour? The NSW EPA and QUT's Digital Media Research Centre have thought about this a lot in terms of actual food waste behaviour, so we're gathering national and international experts from across a range of social good areas to discuss their findings of social media beyond just the swipe or the click! We want your views as a consumer as we develop the #TooGoodToThrow #FoodieBag here at the CRC. Current research is part of an Industrial Design students Honours Thesis in collaboration with us and RMIT University
This project is also seeking the views of businesses, how they currently view customer leftovers, do they provide takeaway containers etc.  This information will be used to create the new-and-improved #FoodieBag to help mitigate food waste in the hospitality sector.
