Apologies that this month's newsletter is a bit late! We at ADHD PEI, much like everyone else in the world, are dealing with the effects of the global pandemic.
In lieu of our regular format we are simply going to provide some resources that we think may be helpful to our ADHD community during this very stressful time. Stay safe everyone!
PLEASE NOTE: In-person meetings have been suspended during the COVID-19 crisis but our WEDNESDAY ADULT ADHD SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS are continuing online:
Weekly meetings occur every Wednesday evening at 7:30pm - 9:00pm Atlantic Time
If you haven't used Zoom you can check it out here. The first time you join a meeting you may be prompted to download some software, after that zoom will be able to launch from your computer when you click a meeting link.
ADHD PARENTS' GROUP:
Planning for our Parents' group is progressing and we've had the first information gathering session via Zoom. Watch our Facebook page for an announcement when the group officially starts!
ADDITUDE MAGAZINE COVID-19 WEBINAR (FREE!):
ADDitude magazine is holding a webinar on April 20th to teach empowering strategies and ways to keep positive during this global crisis.
You can register for free here: https://www.additudemag.com/webinar/adhd-and-anxiety-during-crisis/ (And if you can't watch the webinar live, if you register you have the option of viewing it later on VOD)
