Wishing Sue a Happy Retirement!
Join us in extending best wishes and congratulations to our amazing State Coordinator, Sue Wintering, who is retiring on April 29th from the Project Learning Tree Program and the Division of Forestry.  Sue has worked with the Division of Forestry for 28 years in her role, as well as held a long career in environmental education.  While we are sad to see her go, we are thankful for the hard work that she put in over the years to make this program a success. Sue will continue to be a part of the program as a facilitator and mentor for others.
A Note from the Division of Forestry
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry has been a proud sponsor and supporter of Project Learning Tree for over 35 years.  And for 28 of those years, the program has been caringly coordinated by Sue Wintering.  Sue’s dedication to PLT’s mission, Board of Directors, facilitators, and recipients has helped our Division address its core values of promoting science-based stewardship.  For this, I personally want to thank Sue and congratulate her on a career that not only raised forestry awareness statewide, but also encouraged thousands of Ohioans into our forests.  While Sue will be leaving, the Division’s continued commitment to PLT will remain.  Sue, I hope you thoroughly enjoy your well-deserved retirement.

Introducing Drew!
As the Division of Forestry and PLT-Ohio begin the process for searching for our next coordinator, we welcome an additional support staff, Drew Todd, to assist with the transition! Drew had a long career within the Division of Forestry as an Urban Forester prior to retiring and coming back to assist with PLT. He hopes to use his knowledge and experiences to assist the PLT-Ohio community at large, as well as the new coordinator when they arrive! He, as well as support staffer, Ashley Hansen, and the PLT-Ohio resource email will be the primary points of contact for now. You can click on their names within this paragraph to send them a message, or scroll to the bottom of the page for additional methods of contact.
A Note from Ashley
