NSTA Area Conference on Science Education
"Science: The Bridge to Endless Possibilities"

Cincinnati, OH

Come partake in our PLT-Ohio session "STEM Goes Outside" at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati!

STEM is there when exploring outdoor and placed-based science lessons that enhance students’ knowledge of trees, forests, and the real-world environment! You will want to be there!

NSTA provides national and international leadership in science education by identifying the qualities and standards for good science education; these are set forth in the form of position statements, which are used to support the improvement of science education at all levels. To help you make the most of the professional development opportunities available at the conference, the Conference Committee has planned the conference around three strands that explore topics of current significance, enabling to to focus on a specific area of interest or need:
- Bridging the Three Dimensions of Science Teaching and Learning: Practices, Core Ideas, and Crosscutting Concepts
- Constructing Bridges: Building Lifelong Appreciation and Passion for Science
- Building Strong Bridges: Reinforcing the Connection Between Science and Literacy

The conference runs from November 14th-16th. It is centrally located at Duke Energy Convention Center, however some sessions (including "STEM  Goes Outside") are within walking distance at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati.

Registration is required. Click here for pricing and more info.
