Budget Season Begins! Presentation and Public Hearings...

Hello Ward 7 and Friends,

Budget season for fiscal year 2023 is upon us! Check out the budget book with a message from Mayor Sciarra about her first proposed budget.

Below is the budget season schedule with links. Residents are encouraged to weigh in during the two nights of pubic hearings on the budget. As Chair of the Finance Committee I will have the honor of presiding over the hearings.

There will also be the usual public comment period at the beginning of tomorrow night's budget presentation by the Mayor at our virtual City Council meeting.

BUDGET SCHEDULE for Spring 2022

-Budget Presentation at City Council:
Mayor formally presents budget to City Council, first Reading/Introduction of FY2023 Budget, (Note: no vote is taken on introduction)

-2nd Reading/Council Vote on the Budget
