Self-study tips: BBC 

The BBC website is a great free resource for learning and improving your English. Go to: http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/

They use news reports to help you to improve your reading and listening skills. They have lessons on grammar and vocabulary.
There are quizzes and games too. It is a great way to study English using current events. You can learn about the world and learn English.

Coming to campus?

In order to study from campus, there are a few steps and guidelines to follow.

1. Fill out this form http://go.hawaii.edu/PMQ so we know when you are coming.
2. You will need to show a "green" clearance page on your Lumisight account when you come to campus.

To get a "green" clearance page, 
  • You need to be fully vaccinated OR
  • You need to provide a negative Covid test result
  • And, you need to complete the daily check-in

What's cooking? Menu of the week

Our culinary program students are cooking and serving customers at the Manono campus cafeteria. If you are studying from campus, you may want to try their delicious food!

Hours for the Cafeteria & Da 'Ohana Corner Cafe menu this week is: 
Tuesday - Thursday- 10:30am - 12:30pm

Take-out orders are welcomed and encouraged please call:

Please provide your order, your name, your phone number, and pick up time when you place your order with our students.

Sandwiches, Salads, Drinks, Pies, Cakes, and Cookies are also available for grab and go.

Please advise we have a one way traffic flow in the dining room. Enter the cafeteria through the main door (door next to the illuminated "open" sign), and exit through the door closest to Hale Aloha building. Please sanitize your hands upon entering and please wear a face mask. If you choose to wear a face shield a face mask is still required. Our dining room is closed for in-room dining. We're open for takeout/grab and go orders only.
