Kia Ora Divers 

With the weather a bit up and down, that hasn't stop us from doing what we love, Diving!
The vis makes up for it, and with the right attitude and equipment, winter is the best time of the year to dive.


Congratulations to all our clients who have completed their recent SSI courses with us from Open water diver, Dry suit, Nitrox, Deep diver through to Assistant instructor.

Blue oceans clean up dive
Join us and divers just as passionate as you for our next trash collection Blue Oceans dive at
Taupo lake (Acacia Bay) 27th September 1pm 
BBQ and spot prizes after the dive and rubbish data collection, bring the whanau shore cleaners are welcome

We want everyone to be aware of the environmental problems our oceans and lakes are suffering day by day. The Blue Oceans movement supports the conservation and sustainable use of aquatic environments, including oceans, lakes, seas, coasts, and waterways and their magnificent diversity of plant and animal species.

Departing Maraetai Boat ramp at 8.30am-5.30pm
What's included?
2 boat dives with AWOL Charters, gourmet lunch, hot drinks, soup and snacks, hire gear and great company!
It will be scallop season, optional.

From 1 July, changes will be made in the Hauraki Gulf/Bay of Plenty and the Canterbury/Marlborough rock lobster fisheries.
Hauraki Gulf/Bay of Plenty (CRA 2)
• The recreational daily bag limit is now 3 spiny rock lobsters per person.
• Recreationally caught rock lobsters are required to be telson clipped.
Marlborough/Canterbury (CRA 5)
• The accumulation limit for spiny rock lobster is now 3 daily bag limits (a total of 18 lobsters).
• Fishers must store each day's catch in a bag or container that is clearly labelled with the individual fisher's name, date it was taken, and the number held.
• Recreationally caught rock lobsters are required to be telson clipped.
Consultation with tangata whenua and key stakeholders from a range of interest groups showed general support for the rule changes. For more information, visit:
