A brief meander
This week’s email is going to be (mercifully) short for all sorts of very good reasons. Firstly, I’ve been busy of late continuing with Cobham’s slow but steady refit (pic of fabric stand and Riedel) and for us it’s a very busy time of year anyway with planning meetings (and action points!!) to be dealt with, various building / repair works that need my attention, lots of new lines in the offing and most of our suppliers do their price increases between January and February.

Advanced notice of New stuff
I’ve already ordered a raft of new lines from Le Creuset, including a new colour Meringue -the only way I can remember to spell it is to say it to myself phonetically- which has just arrived, the Joseph Joseph brothers have introduced a number of new lines, due in February, we are about to stock Black and Blum again (really good clean British design for Food and Drinks on the go). Another return is that of AdHoc, who’ve brought out some really mouth-watering, expensive, beautifully made bits and bobs that I shall eulogise profusely about in the coming weeks.
So yes, I’ve been very busy and this Sunday Babette and I are off to the Spring Fair at the NEC for 5 days for, hopefully, another lorry load of new stuff with which to tempt you into parting with your hard earned shekels.
Warm and fuzzy feeling
Very briefly and whilst on the subject of Cobham, I discovered this week from Andy Wheeler, our DKB (they own the Cole and Mason, Zyliss and Ken Hom brands amongst others) account manager, that he went to the Cobham Christmas meal out. I can’t tell you how touched I was to hear this, and I’m not even sure why. But I thought what a lovely idea (whoever it was that had asked him ) and it confirmed to me how much I believe in honest and good relationships at all levels in Art of Living and, equally importantly, those with the outside world, customers and suppliers.
Our sale finishes this weekend and below are a selection of offers that we currently have on, until at least then!
I trust you have a good and peaceful weekend.
