Dear Maria,

We hope this message finds you all well and safe during this public health crisis. NYCET has had the opportunity to connect with many partners over the past week and learn about how you are adapting your plans under this current landscape.  We would like to share some updates with you on tools and resources we are bringing to you to support the continued transition from in-person organizing and outreach to remote and digital. If you are interested in or have any questions regarding the tools listed below contact us at help.nycet.org

Virtual Tools Directory

We've created a directory of virtual tools that can be used to support remote organizing and outreach. Here you can find information about tools that can support phone banking, texting, mailing, webinars, tele-town halls, virtual meetings, digital organizing, and more.

Empower

Empower is a relational organizing application that helps organizers leverage and track their relationships and networks to reach community members we wouldn't be able to reach through traditional methods of contact. Empower is making the tool available at no cost to both 501c3 and 501c4 organizations. Contact us if your organization is interested in learning more or piloting this tool with us.

ThruTalk

After speaking with many of you we learned that there is a strong interest in accessing a robust predictive phone dialing tool to support the increase in phone banking many partners are planning. ThruTalk is a predictive dialer that enables groups to reach out to both landlines and cell phone numbers. NYCET plans to contract with ThruTalk in order to help make it available to you. In the meantime, we would like to hear feedback from you regarding your interest in accessing ThruTalk as well as any experiences you've had with the tool previously.

State Voices Webinar Series

Our national network, State Voices, is hosting a 2 part webinar series starting this week that will focus on helping tables and partners make the shift from in-person contact to phones, mail and digital organizing! We will lay out our recommended vendors and tools that we think will be the easiest to integrate into your current toolset.
