Word of the Week:  KINDNESS

Hello CPPS Phamily!

This month’s theme is Kindness. With all of the negative comments that we see on TV and social media, I thought it would be good to focus on this old-fashioned, but highly important virtue.

According to Dr. David Hamilton, kindness benefits the giver and the receiver.  He shares in a 2011 Huffington Post blog that kindness 1) Makes us happier; 2) Gives us healthier hearts; 3) Slows down the aging process; 4) Makes for better relationships; and 5) Is contagious!

For this week’s quote, consider these wise words from Disney’s Cinderella:

“Have courage and be kind.  Where there is kindness there is goodness
and where this is goodness there is magic.”

Go out and create some magic this month. Be kind! Have a great week!
