Opportunities at Mech Club
Mech Club Mental Health and Wellness Director
It is important for the students of Mechanical Engineering to have adequate care for mental health concerns. To address deficiencies in the mental healthcare system present at U of T, Mech Club is re-opening applications for its Mental Health and Wellness Director position.

The roles of the Mental Health and Wellness Director are as follows:
  • Work with the events director and other members of Mech Club to plan and organize events to promote healthy mental health and wellness habits.
  • Work with faculty committees to help improve the framework of mental health and wellness.
Students interested in promoting the well-being of their fellow Mechs are encouraged to apply here.
Applications are open until 11:59 PM on October 9th, 2019.

If you have any questions, please reach out by emailing mechclub@g.skule.ca, or by messaging the Mech Club Facebook page.
New Banner Logo
As you may have noticed, Mech Club's banner logo looks outdated, and needs to be retired in favor of a more modern design. To this end, Mech Club has opened submissions for its new banner logo to the general Mech Community, and we encourage those with artistic and graphic design experience to try and create a banner logo for us.

The conditions for the logo's design are that it must be in a landscape arrangement, must be at least two times as long as it is wide, and must incorporate some element related to mechanical engineering. Aside from that, you are welcome to be as creative as you'd like with this logo.

The person whose logo we choose will be recognized on the Mech Club newsletter and Facebook group, and will get a choice of two free pieces of Mech merch. Please send all submissions to mechclub@g.skule.ca before November 31st, 2019. Happy designing!
