ISMB presents COMPOSITION in Italian media
On 5 and 6 February, EFFRA organised a dissemination event on digital platforms in manufacturing in association with the ConnectedFactories Coordination and Support Action. Our project had a double presence there in the public and the closed sessions.

We are proud to announce that KLEEMANN has received the gold award for the category “Waste Prevention” at the “Waste and Recycling Awards 2017” ceremony. The main theme of the ceremony was the celebration of the commitment of Greek companies’ to best practices for zero waste.
We are pleased to announce that our deliverable D2.5 Lessons Learned and updated requirements report I is available via our website."The effort served as an inspiration to us." says the Dissemination Manager, Dr. Ifigeneia Metaxa from partner Atlantis Engineering.

COMPOSITION was present at the Smart Building Expo, where Businesses and companies interested in networked building technologies like Home and Building Automation, System Integration and Building Information Modelling came together in Milan, Italy, from 15 to 17 November 2017.

One of the technical objectives of COMPOSITION is to implement, demonstrate and validate the COMPOSITION operating system in two multi-sided pilots. Our evaluation framework serves as a baseline for how, when and by whom validation is going to take place.

Project partner ISMB plays a leading role in the research and application towards Industry 4.0 in Italy and beyond. Mr. Paolo Vergori presented the vision of ISMB and COMPOSITION for the Factories of the Future to local authorities representatives and around 50 entrepreneurs at an interview.
The COMPOSITION project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 723145
