We exist to serve as the visionary leader for the arts in our communities, stimulate and promote the arts, increase access to the arts and produce arts programming for the benefit of community members. Our organization is headquartered in McCormick, South Carolina, and primarily serves the surrounding region. Thank you for your continued support.

MACK Rehabilitation Project
[McCormick, SC] The McCormick Arts Council (MACK)’s building project is currently in Phase I. The rehabilitation of the existing historic building will ensure continued use as a community arts center. The project seeks to modernize the building in a historically sensitive way through the installation of new systems and utilities while increasing ADA accessibility for patrons.

Registration is now open for Art Instruction with Clint Scott in November 2022
Cost is $50 MACK member / $55 non-member
Classes are 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Tuesdays November 1, 8, 15, or Thursdays November 3, 10, 17

Course Description
This class is geared toward the advancement of drawing, watercolor or acrylic painting and is perfect for beginners and advanced students alike. All students are taught on an individual basis. Students are introduced to the theories of composition and color as well as the mechanics of how to manipulate graphite or paint. The Art Instruction Supply list is available. Course Description
Did you miss the October classes? No problem! Join us and work at your own pace as we extend the drawing lessons by developing light and shadow, adding colored pencils, strengthening skills, animal and figure drawing, and more.
Most supplies are included; however, participants will need to bring a 6-8 piece colored pencil set.
